MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Senate Protempt Albert Chie has outlined the agenda of the Liberian Senate during the final sixth Session of the 54th National Legislature.
It followed the return of the Senate from its second constituency break on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
According to Senate Protempt Chie, the agenda includes a review of issues arising from the just-ended 2023 elections, the Revision of Public Health Law, and the ratification of incentive agreements in the committee room.
Others include deliberations on the 2024 National Budget, preparations for the first session of the 55th National Legislature, and the monitoring of the recently approved Drug Law.
Meanwhile, the Senate Protempt has hailed the National Elections Commission for the orderly and peaceful conduct of the elections, amid some difficulties.
