MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Elections Commission (NEC) has released latest results from the just-ended Presidential and Legislative Elections.

President George Weah has gone back on top with seven-hundred-ninety-one-thousand-six-hundred-sixty-one votes, constituting43.79 percent.

He is followed closely by Unity Party’s (UP) Joseph Boakai with seven-hundred-eighty-six-thousand-two-hundred-five votes, constituting 43.49 percent.

The latest figures are contained in the progressive national tallied consolidated results announced on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, by the NEC Chairperson Davidetta Brown-Lansanah.

Since the NEC commenced the releasing of results, incumbent President George Weah and Unity Party’s Joseph Boakai have been in a two-way street in the race for the Presidency.
