Pres. Weah Sends Condolence Message to Gov. and People of Ghana

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has sent a condolence message to the Government and people of Ghana, following the death of former First Lady Theresa Kufour.

She died in her 87th year.

In a message to President Nana Akufo Addo, President George Weah extended heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Ghana, most especially former President John Kufour and the bereaved family for the irreparable loss sustained.

President Weah said the nation of Ghana mourns the loss of a great woman, a retired dedicated nurse and midwife, and a champion for education reform for children.

The Liberian Leader then prayed that the Almighty God would grant former President John Kufour, his family, and the resilient people of Ghana, faith during this difficult period of national distress and mourning.
