Coalition for Democratic Change Campaign Team Dismisses Report…..

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Coalition for Democratic Change, (CDC) Campaign Team has dismissed a report that its CDC Standard Bearer, President George Weah, is flying the Party’s helicopter to tour the Southeast.

CDC National Campaign Spokesman, Cllr. Kanio Bai Gbala said:” Contrary to the misleading and cheap propaganda, President Weah has been traveling by road since the start of his campaign activities outside Montserrado County.”

Cllr. Gbala made the clarification on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, on the ELBC Super Morning Show.

He described the statement as untrue and failed propaganda, urging Liberians not to give credence to blatant lies and misinformation.

Cllr. Kanio Bai Gbala also noted that the CDC continues to attract massive support from citizens across the country, especially in the Southeast.

At the same time, CDC Deputy Campaign Manager, Garrison Yealue, says Nimba County Senator Prince Johnson has lost political relevance in the county.

Mr. Yealue said:” The Nimba County Senator has lost his standing in the county and, as such, he has resulted to intimidating citizens in the area.”

He said:” The people of Nimba County have transitioned from “sympathetic politics” and have resolved to re-elect President George Weah on the back of massive developments in the county.”

The CDC Deputy Campaign Manager spoke on Tuesday’s edition of the ELBC nighttime program, Open Conversation.

Mr. Garrison Yealue said the party will continue engaging the people of Nimba County to ensure President Weah is elected on the first ballot.
