GRAND BASSA COUNTY, LIBERIA-A thirty-three-year-old man identified as Papee Menwon, has reportedly raped a three-month-old baby in Larsor Town, Grand Bassa County.

The incident occurred on the farm, while the victim’s parents had gone into the bush leaving the child with the accused, Papee who is believed to be an uncle to the child.

ELBC Grand Bassa County Correspondent quotes the baby’s father, Bonka Goffa, as narrating that he heard a shout from his wife calling for help.

Mr. Goffa said:” Upon our return, blood was oozing from the baby’s private part and Papee Menwon escaped the scene.”

Meanwhile, Doctors at the Liberia Government Hospital in Buchanan have confirmed penetration, and the accused has since been arrested.
