Kpatawee Overflows Its Banks, Poses Threat to Residents…

BONG COUNTY, LIBERIA-Kpatawee Waterfall in Suakoko District in Bong County is said to be experiencing an unprecedented water overflow caused by heavy rainfall and the subsequent rise in water level.

The massive water overflow has reportedly led to severe flooding in the surrounding areas, posing an imminent threat to the safety and well-being of residents, visitors, and local infrastructures.

Meanwhile, the management of Kpatawee Waterfall is calling for an immediate evacuation plan for residents and individuals in affected areas.

According to the Management, the flooding has resulted in an emergency that requires immediate attention and coordinated action from all stakeholders involved.

The Management of Kpatawee Waterfall has also advised all customers to stay posted, noting that the Kpatawee Waterfall Resort is closed until further notice.
