“Remain peaceful during the remaining period of the October polls”-Pres. Weah

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) Standard Bearer, George Weah, has again reminded partisans and supporters of the party to remain peaceful during the remaining period of the October polls.

The President said:” As the ruling party, it is incumbent upon partisans and supporters to demonstrate good behavior for others to follow.”

He also urged CDCians to make use of the party’s facilities to execute programs and avoid areas that may spark violence.

The CDC Standard Bearer was speaking over the weekend at the Party’s Headquarters in Congo Town.

President George Weah told the gathering that he cares about their safety and welfare, emphasizing the need for CDCians to refrain from conflict-sensitive situations.

At the same time, the CDC Campaign Manager, Eugene Nagbe, says: “The Liberian Government will provide electricity for residents of District 17 in the coming days.”

Mr. Nagbe said the provision of electricity is part of the Government’s commitment to electrify the entire country.

The CDC Campaign Manager said:” Government is sensitive to improving the socio-economic well-being of the people, including residents of District 17.”

He spoke on Saturday, August 19, 2023, in the district on the last campaign trail of President George Weah in Montserrado County.

Mr. Eugene Nagbe, however, indicated that the CDC Victory Campaign Team will continue to checkmate the lies and misinformation being spewed by members of the opposition bloc.

Meanwhile, CDC National Campaign Spokesman has described an unashamed misrepresentation of true reality statements made by Mr. Lewis Brown that the imminent one-round victory of the Coalition for Democratic Change was impossible.

Speaking to scores of women from the Strategic She Thinkers Association who had gathered to endorse the candidacy of President George Weah, Cllr. Kanio Bai Gbala has claimed that Mr. Brown and others do not possess the political lens to appreciate the current national governance conversations.

Cllr. Gbala admonished Mr. Brown to take note of the massive developments in healthcare and education which h has occasioned the groundswell of popular support for President Weah from first-time voters and many ordinary citizens across Liberia.

Meanwhile, Cllr. Gbala also encouraged the Chief Architect of the failed “We Tiyah Suffering” protest to rather focus his energies on explaining to Mr. Cummings what really happened to the $ 75,000 that was siphoned from his car prior to the protest.
