MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Swedish Ambassador to Liberia wants young Liberians collectively work to protect and promote the country’s peace, during and after the October 10 Elections.
Ambassador Urban Sjostrom said:” Young people can transform the country positively when concerted political will and passion are applied.”
The Swedish Diplomat was speaking on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at the National Youth Peace Actors Summit organized by the Young Men Christian Association in Sinkor.
He told the gathering that the Swedish Government remains committed to working along with the Liberian Government to improve its democratic process.
Ambassador Urban Sjostrom also urged political, religious, and traditional stakeholders to remain united as the country observes twenty years of unbroken peace since the signing of the Africa Peace Accord.
