Internal Affairs Ministry Inducts New Local Gov. Officials in Gbarpolu County…

GBARPOLU COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Internal Affairs Ministry has inducted newly appointed Local Government officials in Fish Town, River Gee County.

Those inducted include Madam Asatu Kamara, Development Superintendent, Gbeapo Statutory District, Gabriel Pour, Gbeapo District Commissioner, and Koffa Noring, as Chedepo Commissioner, respectively.

According to ELBC River Gee Correspondent, the inducted local officials received motorbikes to enhance the smooth operations of their perspective offices.

Our Correspondent quotes the inducted local officials as assuring their commitment to working towards the development of the county.

Meanwhile, several residents have lauded Government for the appointments, mainly Madam Kamara, describing her appointment as the first of its kind for a female to occupy such a position in the county.
