MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has congratulated the Government and people of India on the occasion marking the 76th Independence Anniversary of that country.
According to a Foreign Ministry release issued recently, President Weah noted, with deep satisfaction, the heightening bilateral ties subsisting between the two countries and peoples.
He said:” My Government looks forward to strengthening the already excellent bilateral cooperation subsisting between Liberia and India, for the mutual benefits of the two countries.”
The Liberian Leader further expressed hope that both countries will work together in furtherance of peace, security, and global economic development within the context of the sustainable development goals.
President George Weah prayed that the Almighty God showers President Droupadi Murmu with abundant wisdom and strength, as she leads the people of India to higher heights.
