Liberia Consoles Nigeria for Deaths of Seven…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia has consoled Nigeria for the deaths of seven people and at least twenty-three injured, following the collapse of a mosque in the city of Zaria, in Kaduna State.

According to a Foreign Ministry release issued over the weekend, Liberia’s consolation was contained in a Condolence Message by President George Weah to his Nigerian Counterpart, Bola Tinubu.

In the message, President Weah, on behalf of the Government and people of Liberia, extended heartfelt condolences to President Tinubu, the Government, and the people of Nigeria, especially the bereaved families for the irreparable loss sustained.

The release also quotes the Liberian Leader as expressing hope the Almighty Allah will grant President Tinubu and the resilient people of Nigeria comfort and strength during this difficult period of national mourning.

Meanwhile, President George Weah also wished the injured people a speedy recovery.
