MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Official Campaign for the October 23 Presidential and Legislative Elections is set to begin tomorrow, Saturday, August 5.

The National Elections Commission (NEC) says the campaign will run from August 5 to October 8.

Saturday’s declaration of the campaign will also coincide with the release of the final listing of qualified candidates for the exercise.

President George Weah is seeking a second term and is joined by several notable aspirants in the race for the country’s top job.

Prominent among them are Unity Party’s Joseph Boakai, Alternative National Congress’s (ANC) Alexander Cummings, and Cllr. Tiawon Gongloe of the Liberian People Party.
