7th Judicial Circuit Court Sentenced 37-Year-Old Man to 20 Years for Murdering Best Friend…

GRAND BASSA COUNTY, LIBERIA-The 7th Judicial Circuit Court in Grand Bassa County has sentenced a thirty-seven-year-old man to twenty years, for killing his best friend in the county.

Convict Moses Sayon was undergoing jurors’ trial for murdering his best friend, Ujay Witerveen, on April 10 this year.

Convict Sayon and victim Witerveen were said to be gambling in Gorzohn Community when confusion arose among them, at which time the convict hit the victim with a reed stick on his head, leading to the death of the man.

According to ELBC Correspondent, the court brought down the ruling on Defendant Sayon over the weekend, following a guilty verdict from jurors.

Convict Moses Sayon has been forwarded to the Buchanan Central Prison to serve his jail term.
