GRAND KRU COUNTY, LIBERIA-Heavy storm has destroyed the only public elementary school in Weayan, Bolloh Education District, in Grand Kru County.

According to ELBC Correspondent, the Principal of the school, Sam Nagbe, said:” The school is the only Government-run elementary school in the area, providing education for several underprivileged children in that part of the country”.

Mr. Nagbe noted that the situation is seriously affecting the students, adding that the school has now resorted to using the Weayan Town Hall to continue the academic school year.

Mr. Sam Nagbe is, however, calling on the Central Government, through the relevant Education Authorities and Aid Institutions to help reconstruct the damaged facility.
