The Ministry has frowned at school administrators engaged in the registration of re-sitters along with regular students in the past school years.

Education Minister, Ansu Sonii, said:” Such practice is unacceptable because it has grossly created unnecessary financial liabilities for the Liberian Government”.

Minister Sonii clarified that the Government has committed itself to underwrite the financial costs for regular students for each school year and not re-sitters.

Speaking on the program,   “Conversation with the Ministry of Education” on Sunday, May 28, 2023, Minister Sonii warned school administrators engaged in the registration of individuals deemed as re-sitters to desist.
