Cassava Farmers to Benefit from Capacity Building Package…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Hundreds of Cassava Farmers across Liberia stand to benefit from the capacity-building package, under the National Cassava Sector Coordinating Committee (NCSCC).

It followed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Committee and the Rural Economic Transformation Project (RETRAP) to develop a value chain.

The MoU is aimed at strengthening the capacity of the NCSCC for the effective management of the Cassava Sector, committing both parties to uphold the terms of the document.

According to a release issued recently, RETRAP has provided materials and financial support to the NCSCC valued at nearly thirty-five thousand United States Dollars to empower cassava farmers.

The release also quotes NCSCC Secretariat as disclosing the donation of desktop computers, heavy-duty printers, projectors, and a large assortment of stationery supplies, among others.
