MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberia National Police (LNP) has launched an investigation of the gruesome murder of a child in Paynesville City.

The report said the beheaded body of the child was discovered wrapped in a cloth in drainage.

According to the reports, the child’s body was discovered by a group of students, while on their way to school.

The body has since been removed by the LNP, though no ownership of the body has been claimed.

Up to press time, no arrest has been made in connection with the child’s death.
