MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Authorities of the National Elections Commission (NEC) have described as successful the entire Biometric Voter Registration (BVR) exercise across the Country.

The Chairperson of the Commission, Davidetta Brown-Lansanah, said:” Despite minor technical glitches during the start of the process, it ended smoothly”.

Madam Brown-Lansanah expressed satisfaction and hailed citizens for actively participating in the BVR exercise.

Meanwhile, the NEC Boss said:” The Commission is documenting and reviewing reports of any form of electoral fraud that may have occurred during the BVR process”.

The Second Phase of the Biometric Voter Registration kicked off on March 21, 2023, in nine of Liberia’s fifteen counties.
