BONG COUNTY, LIBERIA-Presidential Press Secretary, Solo Kelgbeh, has described the death of the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS) Executive Mansion Reporter, Naway Gumeh, as a great loss to the state and its people.

Mr. Kelgbeh said:” Naway was always willing to work for his Country”.

Mr. Kelgbeh spoke on Saturday, May 6, 2023, during the funeral of journalist Gumeh in Bong County, where he presented one thousand United States Dollars to the family of the deceased.

Meanwhile, the Senior Pastor of the Assembly of God Church in Suakoko, Rev. Edward Pewee, cautioned the living to be aware that death is inevitable.

Rev. Pewee said:” The death of Naway should be a wakeup call for mankind to be in right standing with God”.
