MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Elections Commission (NEC) has released the revised electoral dates for the conduct of the 2023 General and Presidential Elections in Liberia.

It followed Tuesday’s meeting with political party executives and election partners under the Inter-Party Consultative Committee.

According to a recent release issued, the first phase of the Biometric Voter Registration begins on March 12 and ends on April 9, 2023, while Phase Two runs from April 12 to May 11, 2023.

The issuance of Writ of Elections is May 9 and exhibition of the provisional Registration Roll is expected to be exhibited from June 12 to June 17, while the last issuance of Writ of Elections is July 9.

Meanwhile, Presidential and Legislative Campaigning commences on August 5 and ends on October 8, two days to Election Day in October this year.
