Liberia’s Chief Medical Officer Ends Major Assessment Tour

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberia’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Francis Kateh, has ended a major tour to assess ongoing development in the Country’s Health Sector.

Dr. Kateh said:” The tour was necessary to inspect ongoing construction of hospitals, and to identify challenges confronting the sector.”

He said through the German Aid, the Liberian Government is constructing and rehabilitating several health facilities across the Country.

Meanwhile, Dr. Kateh has announced Henry Dugulu as the new County Health Officer for the Rivergee County Health Team.

Dr. Dugulu replaces outgoing CHO Dr. Trokon Washington.
