Gov. Hospital in Tubmanburg gutted by fire

TUBMANBURG, BOMI COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Liberian Government Hospital in Tubmanburg, Bomi County, has been gutted by fire.

The early Wednesday, October 5, 2022, incident reportedly affected the birth registration office of the hospital, destroying documents in the process.

According to the County Health Team Chief Security, Jusu Sheriff, the fire began about 3am and spread rapidly across the document section.

He attributed the fire to electrical shock.
