MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Leadership of the House of Representatives will today Tuesday meet with the remaining two importers of rice in Liberia, Fouani Brothers and Fouta Corporation.

The meeting will focus on concerns raised by citizens over the shortage of rice on the Liberian Market.

The importers have since confirmed to appear before the leadership of the House on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 beginning at 11AM.

At the same time, the Leadership of the House is expected to meet with petroleum importers on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.

Petroleum importers have been cited to come along with their respective documentations relative to type/quality of gasoline and the volume of importation, lately.

The Leadership believes that the submission of those documents will enhance the level of discussions with importers.
