MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Senate has reaffirmed the mandate of the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) Commissioner General, Thomas Doe-Nah.

It followed his confirmation on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, after a report from the Senate Committee on Ways, Means and Finance.

According to the Committee, Mr. Doe-Nah has performed beyond all reasonable doubts as Commissioner General of the LRA.

At the same time, the Senate has rejected the nomination of the Liberia Airport Authority (LAA) Director General designate, Darlington Karnley.

The Senate Committee on Transport in its report said Mr.Karnley lacks the requisite qualification to serve in such position.
