Prominent Gbarpolu County Citizen threatens lawsuit…..

GBARPOLU COUNTY, LIBERIA-Gbarpolu County Regional National Civil Society Coordinator has threatened a lawsuit against two logging companies operating in the County.

According to ELBC Correspondent, they are Kokoyallah and the Indoor Africa Investment Logging Companies.

Mr. Lincoln Johnson is quoted by ELBC Correspondent as saying both companies have reportedly failed to live up to their corporate responsibilities, including the construction of clinics and hand pumps.

He alleged that the companies continue to take away logs from the County, thereby leaving bridges and roads in deplorable state.

Meanwhile, authorities of Kokoyallah and the Indoor Africa Investment Logging Companies are yet to make any comment amid the allegation.
