MONROV IA, LIBERIA-The Minister of Youth and Sports has sent out a strong warning to individuals bent on preventing works on the beaches and waterways projects.

Minister Zeogar Wilson’s notice comes after some individuals protested and subsequently derailed works taking place in New Kru Town and Virginia.

Minister Wilson said:” Government has fully paid as required by the agreement with workers on the project.”

In a strong tone, he said:” Government will not tolerate any intimidation from individuals attempting to disrupt operations on the beaches and waterways project.”

According to him, workers will return to the field following the Wednesday protest, and warned against any future threats and disruptions.

The Youth and Sports Boss, however, noted that where there are concrete reasons for concerns, the Ministry is opened to listen to for consideration.
