Measles rages on in Todee District, Montserrado County

TODEE DISTRICT, MONTSERRADO COUNTY, LIBERIA-Several towns and villages in Todee District in Montserrado County are still affected from measles outbreak, despite the intervention of local health authorities in the District.

Some affected communities include Blockpad, Morris Farm, and Tar-Bay-Yah-mah.

ELBC Rural Montserrado County Correspondent said some parents are now using traditional medication to treat their affected children.

Our Correspondent said majority of the residents in affected areas preferred applying traditional means, rather than seeking medical treatment from nearby health facilities.
