Liberia Petroleum Refining Company Management changes the status of 309 contractors….

MONROVIA, LIB ERIA-The Management of the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company (LPRC), under the leadership of Madam Marie Urey Coleman, has changed the employment status of 309 Contractors to full time employees.

According to a release, those contractors employed have provided services for LPRC for period ranging from 4 to 20 years, without medical and dental benefits for themselves and their dependents.

The decision by LPRC to hire these contractors was based on their experience and competence to effectively transform the company, the statement said.

Speaking to employees at the Product Storage Terminal (PST) on Tuesday, April 12,2022, in Monrovia, Madam Coleman said:” My decision was in support of the Government’s Pro-poor Agenda, which seeks to empower its citizens by providing them employment opportunities to better their lives.”
