MONROVIA, LIBERIA-President George Weah has identified with Liberian Muslims, as they go through the month of Ramadan.

Internal Affairs Minister Varney Sirleaf said:” President Weah provided over three-thousand bags of rice, four-million Liberian Dollars for cooking, and five-hundred-thousand Liberian Dollars to cover transportation cost.”

Minister Sirleaf said the President’s contribution to the Muslim Community, for this year’s Ramadan, is totaling over four-million Liberian Dollars.

He said the item will be distributed among Muslims across the fifteen counties.

Minister Sirleaf, however, called on Muslims to continue to offer prayer and supplication for the peace and stability of the Country.

Responding, the Chairman of the National Muslim Council of Liberia, Imam Abdullah Mansaray, thanked President Weah for always identifying with them, during the month of Ramadam.
