Senate Pro-Temp assures of road building in the South-East

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Senate Pro-Temp Albert Chie has assured citizens of Grand Kru County of the commencement of the rehabilitation of roads in the south-east.

According Senate Pro-Temp Chie, the road rehabilitation will begin in Barclaysville City, Grand Kru County.

A Senate press release quotes Senator Chie as saying the Liberian Government has allocated five-million United States Dollars in the current budget, for the rehabilitation of roads.

The Grand Kru County Senator also said:” Additional five-hundred-thousand US Dollars has been allocated, to begin the construction of major bridges along the road.”

Meanwhile, the Senate Pro-Temp is calling for the immediate cancellation of the contract between the Ministry of Public Works and Prime Plus Construction Incorporation, due to the Company’s failure to live up to the agreement.

He made the statement upon his arrival in Niplaikpo City in Grand Kru County.
