Man missing after prayer service near Buchanan

SAINT JOHN, GRAND BASSA COUNTY, LIBERIA-Police in Grand Bassa County has launched a thorough search for a forty-five-year old man who went missing several days ago.

Joseph Blama is said to have gone missing days after he left his home in Buchanan, to attend a local prayer band operated by renowned Pastor Martha Doe, in St. John City, near Buchanan.

According to ELBC Grand Bassa County Correspondent, Mr. Blama had gone for prayer in bid for job opportunity.

Our Correspondent said:” Moments after the first service ended, Mr. Blama was never seen again around the facility of the church, something that claimed the attention of the Pastor and other members of the church.”

Several items belonging to Mr. Blama was later seen in nearby areas, thus prompting the police to intensify their search for the missing man.

Our Correspondent said:” The incident has brought deepening fear to residents of the area, as up to seven persons have gone missing in the community, with some resulting into deaths.”
