Nat’l Elections Commission prepares for Senatorial By-Election in Lofa County

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The National Elections Commission’s local offices in Lofa County have begun replacing lost and damaged voter cards, ahead of the May 10, 2022, Senatorial By-Election.

Lofa County Senior Elections Magistrate Albert Smith said the process will run up to Tuesday, April 2, 2022.

He told ELBC in an interview in Voinjama that the ongoing process is exclusively for voters who did register with cases of either lost or damaged cards.

The County’s Elections Magistrate has, meanwhile, disclosed that will be on Saturday, April 2, 2022,, dispose of election materials in their warehouses.

Mr. Smith said:” The move will pave the way and create room for expected materials for the May 10, 2022, Senatorial By-Election.”
