W.V.S University to resume academic activities next week

HARPER, MARYLAND COUNTY, LIBERIA-The William V.S. Tubman University in Harper, Maryland County, is expected to resume normal academic activities next week, following weeks of inactivity due to protests.

The reopening of the University on Monday, March 28, 2022, followed the recent appointment of Dr. Emmanuel Leon-Sieh Wreh as the University’s Acting President.

Speaking to ELBC in Harper on Wednesday, March 23,2022, Dr. Wreh promised to make sure some of the key issues raised by striking faculty and students are addressed.

Dr. Leon-Sieh Wreh added that his leadership will work to ensure that the University returns to normality.

He said:” My vision is to unite the workforce and set higher standards at the William V.S. Tubman University.”
