MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Liberian Senate has concurred with the House of Representatives on the passage of the 2022 National Budget.
The Senate passed the budget at seven-hundred-eighty-six-million-five-hundred-eighty-seven-thousand-three-hundred-forty United States Dollars.
The passage on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, followed a report from the Senate Joint Committee on Ways, Means, Finance and Public Accounts.
The budget prioritized security and rule of law, education, agriculture, health, infrastructure and basic services.
It has been forwarded to the Executive for signature and printing into handbill.
