Press Union of Liberia President calls on media to take charge of media content…

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The President of the Press Union of Liberia (PUL), Charles Coffey, is calling on the media to be patriotic and take charge of media content during Liberia’s Bicentennial celebration.

Mr. Coffey said:” The first contact of those coming into the Country will be the content of the media, through the local dailies, radio and social media, among others.”

He noted that factual and balanced media contents have the potential to attract investors.

Meanwhile, the PUL Boss is calling on the Liberian Government to provide resources for the procurement of equipment to enhance the work of journalists.

Mr. Coffey is, at the same time, calling on media managers to ensure the full coverage of the Bicentennial celebrations.
