Liberia commences Bicentennial Celebrations tomorrow

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-Liberians are gearing up for the official kickoff event of the Country’s Bicentennial celebration tomorrow.

Ahead of the event, Information Minister Ledgerhood Rennie is urging Liberians to use the occasion as a catalyst for the show of love and patriotism.

Minister Rennie said:” The Bicentennial celebration is crucial for the promotion of peace, and the display of Liberia’s rich cultural heritage.”

He said regardless of the Country’s recent history, Liberia has a lot to share with the rest of the world.

Minister Rennie said that the fully decorated Providence Island is set to host the kickoff event this Friday, December 7, 2022.

Meanwhile, Minister Rennie is rallying Liberians to join the celebration and make it memorable and successful.

He spoke during the MICAT Press Briefing Friday, December 6,2022, in Monrovia.
