Carter Center chooses ELBC Deputy Director as Its Mental Health Champion in Liberia

MONROV IA, LIBERIA-The Carter Center has selected the Deputy Director General for Media Services at the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS), as its Mental Health Champion in Liberia.

Mr.  Sorbor George was selected among several high profile individuals, based on his respect for the dignity and wellbeing of people with mental health conditions.

A Carter Center release issued Wednesday, December 8,2021, said:” Mr. George will be  promoting mental health care, fighting stigma an d helping to raise funds to support national efforts on mental.”

Meanwhile, Carter Center is urging Mr. George to continue to elevate the platform for mental health care, and expand access and improve quality both in and out of Liberia.
