Over 12,000 vaccinated against COVI D-19 in Bong County

BONG COUNTY, LIBERIA-More than twelve thousand people have been vaccinated against Covid-19 in Bong County.

The residents recently took the Johnson and Johnson and the AstraZeneca vaccines.

Bong County Health Officer, Dr. Jonathan Flomo, told ELBC Correspondent that forty-two-thousand people have been targeted for vaccination in the County.

The County Health Team is expected to shortly carryout community outreach, to encourage citizens’ participation in the vaccination exercise.

In another development, students in Lower Bong County will shortly benefit from a free computer training program.

Our correspondent said the program is the initiative of Finance Minister, Samuel Tweah.
