Liberian Gov’t rejects former VP Boakai’s claims about its US delegation

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The Liberian Government has rejected claims by former Vice President Joseph Boakai that its delegation in the United States was meeting drivers and Desk Officers.

Deputy Information Minister for Public Affairs, Eugene Fahngon has clarified that the government delegation had met with some key figures of the US government.

Minister Fahngon also rejected allegations that there is no new investment in the Country. He told the Ministry of Information regular Press briefing that the government has made significant gains despite the limited resources and competing priorities.

Minister Fahngon also took the political leader of the Alternative National Congress (ANC) to task for his continued corruption allegations against the government.
