Five charged and sent to court in connection with motorcyclist’s death in Maryland County

MARYLAND COUNTY, LIBERIA-The Liberia National Police (LNP) have charged and sent to court five persons, in connection with the killing of motorcyclist Mordecial Nyemah in Pleebo, Maryland County.

The Assistant Justice Minister for Litigation, Cllr. Wesseh A. Wesseh told ELBC Judicial Reporter that the five persons include four men and a woman.

The arrested persons include: Moses Mlamah, Jeremiah Appleton (alias Open Zipper), Francis Klah Nyemah, Leo Williams and Alice Davies.

They are charged for murder, armed robbery and criminal conspiracy.

Cllr. Wesseh disclosed that the prime suspect, Moses Mlamah, attempted committing suicide in his cell at the Zwedru Correction Palace, but was discovered by guards when he attempted using his underwear to hang himself.
