MONROVIA, LIBERIA – Chinese Ambassador, Ren Yisheng, commended the efforts and achievements made by the Liberia Broadcasting System in the dissemination of news and other programs.

The Chinese Envoy praised the partnership between respective governments and LBS as one of the beneficiaries of the bilateral relations.

He congratulated Liberia for the successful conduct of the just ended Special Senatorial and by-elections, including the referendum.

Ambassador Yisheng admonished Liberians to continue to peacefully co-exist in the midst of diversity.

Recounting the long-standing bilateral ties between Liberia and China, the Chinese Ambassador said they will continue to promote among other things, peace, and development initiatives.

He made the comments Tuesday during LBS annual awards celebration held at the Paynesville Town Hall.
