MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The House of Representatives has passed the 2020.2021 Fiscal Budget in the tune of 570 million United States Dollars.

According to ELBC Legislative Reporter, the Budget was sub mitted by the Executive at 536 million United States Dollars.

The Joint Ways and Means and Public Accounts Committees, in a report to Plenary Thursday, October 8, 2020, said it identified an additional 34 million US Dollars during the revenue and expenditure hearings.

Our reporter said the passage of the Budget considered all sectors of Government to enhance governance and development.

Meanwhile, the Budget is expected to be forwarded to the Liberian Senate for concurrence.
