13TH Judicial Circuit Court to entertain legal arguments…..

KAKATA, MARGIBI COUNTY, LIBERIA-The 13th Judicial Circuit Court in Kakata, Margibi County, is expected to entertain legal arguments on today, Friday, September 25, 2020, between State Prosecutors and Defense Counsel in the case involving murder suspect, Oliver Dillon.

It followed a Recusal Motion filed by State Prosecutors against Judge Mardea Chenoweth of the 13th Judicial Circuit Court in Kakata, Margibi County.

Recently, the Supreme Court mandated the Court to resume jurisdiction over the matter.

State Prosecution led by Liberia’s Solicitor General Cllr. Cyrenus Cephus, accused Judge Chenoweth of siding with the Defense Team protecting the legal interest of suspect Dillon.

In April 2019, Murder Suspect Oliver Dillon was indicted by the Government of Liberia for allegedly stabbing to death Emmanuel Freeman in the Gardnerville area.
