Education Ministry to Begin Data Collection for Schools Nationwide

MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with partners, has announced the 2019/2020 data collection exercise for schools nationwide.

A release issued over the weekend said the Annual School Census is a national requirement applicable to all levels of schools throughout Liberia, including Early Childhood to Secondary Education Institutions.

According to the release, data collection will focus on enrolment by class, level, gender and age group as well as teachers and support staff information by qualification, level teaching and salary type.

It said the data collection will also focus on school facilities, including structures, classroom type, furniture, computer and science laboratory, latrine and recreation facilities among others.
