Health Ministry, Partners Carry on Nationwide Border Assessment to Enhance Fight against COVID-19

The Ministry of Health, in collaboration with partners is carrying out a nationwide border assessment tour in response to the fight against the Corona virus pandemic.

Liberia’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Francis Keteh told Reporters in Lofa County that the tour is intended to look at the challenges in containing Covid-19 at the various border points.

Dr. Keteh said it would give them full idea on how to address the challenges over time.

Meanwhile, Dr. Keteh has expressed concern about the public’s refusal to adhere to the health protocols especially the use of nose masks.
