MONROVIA, LIBERIA -The Internal Audit Agency (IAA) says it will shortly resume the second phase of its nationwide physical payroll verification in Liberia.

The payroll verification exercise will target the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Justice Sector of the Country.

The Justice Sector will include the Liberia Immigration Service (LIS), Liberia National Police (LNP), Liberia National Fire Service and the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA).

The exercise is the final phase of the IAA’s payroll verification of the affected entities.

Individuals not present at their respective institutions during the conduct of the physical payroll verification exercise, will be considered ghosts and as such, their names will be recommended for deletion from government’s payroll.
