Storm destroys several homes in Upper Margibi County

UPPER MARGIBI COUNTY, LIBERIA-Heavy storm has destroyed several homes in Upper Margibi County, leaving thousands homeless.

According to ELBC Upper Margibi County Correspondent, the storm unroofed dozens of homes in Weala, Zaryyeama Compound and other communities in the area.

Our Correspondent said:” Some humanitarians, including the Managing Director of the Liberia Civil Aviation Authority, donated two-hundred-thousand Liberian Dollars as his way of identifying with victims.”

Meanwhile, the victims are appealing to local and foreign NGOs to aid them as they are now residing in public buildings.
