SIONE COUNTY – Angry residents of Kpanyan District, Sinoe County have reportedly beaten the wife of a General Town Chief to death.

According to ELBC Sinoe County Correspondent, the incident occurred after the woman announced the mysterious disappearance of her husband, identified Nathaniel Saysorceh.

The deceased, a mother of four children, is said to have told the residents that while on their farm, she sent her husband for drinking water but did not return up to her departure from the farm.

Our Correspondent said the explanation of the woman did not go down well with the angry residents who allegedly beat her severely and compelled her to follow them to search for her who was later found alive in the bush.

Meanwhile, Police in Sinoe County have arrested four persons for their reported involvement in the beating of the deceased identified as Elizabeth Saysorceh.
