MONROVIA, LIBERIA-The Executive Governor designate at the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL) Aloysius Tarlue says he will rebuild confidence in the banking system in Liberia if confirmed.

Mr. Tarlue said:” This will be done through reforms aimed at improving governance, ensuring technical reliability in policies and achieving financial sustainability of the CBL.”
Speaking Thursday, December 6, 2019, during the confirmation hearing at the Liberian Senate, the CBL Executive Governor designate said his key priority will be .the promotion of the independence of the Bank.
Mr. Tarlue also promised to work in consultation with the National Legislature to integrity to the Central Bank of Liberia.
