MONROVIA, LIBERIA – Information Minister Eugene Nagbe has with immediate effect dissolved the organizing Committee of Miss Liberia – 2019

Minister Nagbe has also suspended all preparatory activities leading to the hosting of the event.

In a released issued by the Ministry, the annual Miss Liberia Beauty Pageant, which is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Information Culture Affairs and Tourism(MICAT) was due to be hosted later this year.

Minister Nagbe said would-be contestants who incurred expenses as a result of their engagement with the committee and other stakeholders, who made contributions, will be reimbursed.

Meanwhile, the Information Minister is calling on the public to disregard all publication of promotional materials, particularly those bearing the photograph of President George Weah.
